Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is the provider named at the end of this page.

In short

This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads no third-party content (no external fonts, maps or videos). The only exception is the South Tyrol weather widget on the “Surroundings” page (see below), which sets no cookies either. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Server log files

When you visit the website, our web server records technically necessary information in log files: your full IP address, date and time, requested page, amount of data transferred, status code, referring page and browser identifier. In the event of server errors, the same information may end up in an error log.

The purpose is the secure and stable operation of the website, in particular detecting and defending against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after 14 days; they are not analysed for statistical or advertising purposes.

Contact by email, phone or WhatsApp

When you contact us, we process your details (e.g. name, contact details, travel dates) solely to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare your stay (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The website itself transmits no data – only a click on a contact button opens your email program, your phone app or WhatsApp.

With WhatsApp, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. is involved as the provider and its privacy policy applies. If you prefer not to use it, please email or call us.

External links

Links to OpenStreetMap, Google Maps or the tourist board lead to third-party websites. Data is only transmitted when you click such a link; the respective provider’s privacy policy then applies.

South Tyrol weather widget

On the “Surroundings” page we show the weather forecast for Natz-Schabs using the widget of the weather service of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano – South Tyrol. When you open that page, your browser loads the widget and the weather data directly from the province’s servers (static-wetter.provinz.bz.it and static-meteo.provincia.bz.it). For technical reasons your IP address is transmitted to these servers. The widget sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. The purpose is to show our guests an up-to-date forecast; the legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Processing by the province is governed by its privacy notice: weather.province.bz.it/en/privacy.

Webcam

Our webcam shows the landscape around Raas and Brixen. It is aligned so that no people can be identified.
